We actively seek a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, PeopleSoft. This is a remote role that can be based anywhere in the US.

Position Summary

Rimini Street provides support and software updates for regulatory compliance, taxation updates, payroll updates, as well as application fixes and much more.

This role is a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, PeopleSoft in our Global Product Development group supporting the US and Canada. The primary responsibility for this role is to ensure that our customer's PeopleSoft systems are kept compliant with the various legal requirements published by agencies and governments globally. Functional Analysts combine in-depth product expertise with the latest tax and regulatory changes to work within the team to deliver software to clients. The position will follow each tax and regulatory change from discovery through deployment of an application update. This role is vital in providing high quality deliverables to our clients and keeping their mission critical enterprise applications in compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth functional knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft system across multiple versions - PeopleSoft Payroll, Human Resources, and Financials
  • Complete analysis, documentation, and testing of complex legislative requirements
  • Create and execute test cases
  • Assist with troubleshooting of tax & regulatory client cases including working directly with clients
  • Gain new knowledge through analysis, research, and testing
  • Design and development of user stories, acceptance criteria and configuration requirements
  • Communicate effectively across various teams
  • Be committed to excellence and quality
  • Work closely with all team members to ensure we meet the acceptance criteria and deliver a high-quality product

Location

  • Remote - U.S.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Extensive experience US & Canada PeopleSoft HRMS /Payroll.
  • At least 2 years hands on experience within PeopleSoft systems.
  • A track record of successful roles on enterprise application projects (including full development lifecycle)

Skills

  • Willingness to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Ability to think outside of the box and take initiative for process improvements
  • Proficient at developing internal and external documentation from regulatory and tax data
  • Ability to explain payroll processes and calculations independent of ERP system
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
  • Must be a strong self-starter and the ability to work in a very fast paced environment
  • A committed work environment with stable internet service
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Agile mindset, a plus
  • Jira experience, a plus
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft Financials Module, a plus

The general salary range for this type of role is 100k - 150k depending on skills and experience.
