Sr. PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Manager - Duluth, GA/Remote How you will impact WestRock: Serve as PeopleSoft application subject matter expert guiding configuration and implementation with a strong focus on Payroll for US and Canada. Identify process efficiencies, recommend innovative uses of software functionality, communicate design, implement solutions, and train end-users Develop & document specifications for PeopleSoft configurations and associated interfaces to ensure scalable integrated enterprise platform Create, maintain, and perform recurring audits of pay data rules to maintain payroll compliance Evaluates payroll application systems functionality to identify gaps, measuring the solution impact to business operations Partner with Compensation, HR, Legal, IT to design and implement compensation changes to be compliant with all Federal, State, and local regulations. Specifically, with FLSA OT and validation, wages, and pay statements Design and implement training materials and communicate to educate with business leaders Serve as an advisor and point person on all wage and compensation changes for assigned M&A activity deal activity from pre-close due diligence through post-close integration Provide project guidance for small-to-medium projects related to the PeopleSoft environment utilizing team-oriented approaches Perform all the PeopleSoft payroll functional work, test scripts, system and parallel testing related to the new time system project with Workforce Software Provide production support to a fast-paced payroll environment What you will need to Succeed: Minimum of 8-10 years PeopleSoft experience with a strong focus on Payroll for US and Canada, PeopleSoft 9.2 experience Experience with PeopleSoft time and attendance module or PeopleSoft Payroll module integration experience with other third-party workforce management and time system Experience with Acquisitions and Mergers Solid understanding of setup tables, system integration, and Payroll processes and reporting. Ability to research and analyze data to diagnose and resolve system issues Ability to write reports using Query Manager or SQL Experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer is a plus Experience in writing requirements and analysis, business rules, and configuring and design of PeopleSoft Payroll Experience with US and CA regulatory environment regarding compensation, wage & hours, and payroll compliance Ability to influence, problem solve, and successfully collaborate and communicate with leaders at various levels Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Proficient using Microsoft Office tools PeopleSoft knowledge for payroll configuration, processing, and an understanding of FLSA requirement WestRock is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
