JOB TITLE: Peoplesoft Financials Developer
LOCATION: San Jose, CA (100% onsite)
DURATION: 6 months to hire
Responsibilities
The Senior Developer designs, develops, configures, tests, troubleshoots, and assists in system rollouts. Must have experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM modules, including eProcurement, Purchasing, Account Payable & General Ledger, and expert in PeopleCode, PeopleTools (8.57+), Approval Workflow, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, Integration Broker. Coordinates all activities between the Information Technology department and the business stakeholders, including gathering functional requirements and translating requirements into a technical design that meets the goals and objectives of the business. The position is located in San Jose, CA.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Five years of progressively challenging development experience with PeopleSoft Financials
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Valid California Driver License
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Required Experience designing, configuring, and testing PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) workflow approvals
- Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM Modules, including eProcurement, Purchasing, Account Payable & General Ledger
- Good knowledge and minimum 5 years of hands-on Technical experience on PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Package, Integration Broker, and Rest API
- Worked in Upgrade/ Support/Development projects in PeopleSoft Financials
- Collaborates with business to gather and understand requirements and explores delivered functionality, designs, and solution prototypes
- Troubleshoot and resolve business processes, interface issues, and document resolutions for future reference
- Experience with web service integration, including REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
- Experience/ exposure to PowerPlan and/or Workday is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL Server databases
- Knowledge of report design and development software such as Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, or Oracle BI Publisher
- Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle and industry best practices
- Ability to grasp both broad and detailed concepts and understand system contingencies
- Ability to plan, organize, schedule, control, analyze, and coordinate activities for completing assigned projects
- Ability to understand and comply with SOX procedures
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with those encountered in the course of business
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
