We are in the process of upgrading from 7.51 to 8.3. What I want to know is what direction did you take in the upgrading process, and why?
I would highly recommend going the full Service Pack 1 route over applying the various bundles independently. The biggest benefit would be the fact that you cannot get much fix support on HRMS 8.3 without having SP1 installed. If the global support center cannot recreate the problem, you will be pointed towards the application of SP1 to establish a guaranteed common code base. You can save yourself the extra pain of proving SP1 compliance if you just install it up front.
