As a Principal Administrative Analyst in this temporary (18 month) assignment you will be responsible for analyzing Metropolitan's current payroll system and processes. Your subject matter expertise in payroll and PeopleSoft will be used to develop improvements and process changes to align with current law and CalPERS rules.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: defining payroll management and user requirements; documenting payroll enterprise-wide process improvements; and acting as business analyst.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, and eight years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, and six years of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Senior Analyst classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: working experience within PeopleSoft and payroll functions
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
