Our client is looking for a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst for a 6 month contract to hire.

Location: 100% remote.

Work to gather business requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, and develop functional specifications for data conversions and customizations for PeopleSoft HCM applications with a heavy focus on Payroll and Benefits.

 Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the HCM team to set up earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, payroll calendars, configuration, etc., with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to processing.

 Advise the project team on best practices related to configuration and setup of the payroll, benefits and related HCM systems.

 Able to develop test cases, execute test scripts and analyze test results to validate the accuracy and functionality of developed programs.

 Can develop and modify new queries and reports in PeopleSoft, as needed.

 Partner with HR PeopleSoft team to support their business operations to satisfy user inquiries and to resolve related HR issues.

 Collaborate with peers and customers to deliver quality business solutions and provide recommendations to business owners and IT Management on process improvements.

 Able to work independently and to meet aggressive timelines

Qualifications / Required Skills
 Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Human Resources, or a related field of study; and a

 Minimum of 5 years of progressive, responsible experience as an ERP PeopleSoft functional analyst and/or super user.

 Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Enterprise application suite with a strong emphasis on PeopleSoft full-cycle Payroll, Tax and Benefits processing.

 Practical experience coordinating PeopleSoft Year-End processing and reporting with the business.

 Recent Oracle PeopleSoft v9.0 experience required, v9.2 desired  Ability to manage and roll-out PeopleSoft Tax Updates and PUM releases to the business.

 Proficient in the use of Query Manager and understanding of the Process Scheduler.

 PeopleSoft Time and Labor application experience and an understanding of Financial system (Accounts Payable and General Ledger) interfaces is a plus.

 Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions in a timely manner. Ability to escalate issues when required.

 Proficient in MS Office product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
