PeopleSoft Functional - Payroll Immplmentation Consultant
URGENT NEED: Start ASAP/ Remote.
For a hospital in NC
6 months.
PeopleSoft Functional Payroll - Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2
We would be looking for a top-notch PeopleSoft Payroll for North America implementation functional specialist. The need is immediate and we would be looking for someone who could walk in the door and begin execution. The 'discovery'/requirement phase is over and the team is in the design and build phase. So, this would need to be someone who is comfortable in walking into a situation where 'implementation' is underway. They would be needed to get things rolling quickly. There would be a need for us to see the real results of their deep knowledge of payroll setup and processing quickly.
Responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining PeopleSoft HR/Payroll systems according to business needs.
Responsibilities
Perform duties under general direction from Program Manager
Assist in the analysis, design configuration, and estimation tasks
Configure and maintain PeopleSoft HR/Payroll systems to meet business requirements
Develop/document test conditions, scenarios, and scripts
Conduct system and integration testing
Author functional specification documents
Mentor other team members on PeopleSoft HR/Payroll
Proactive in completing the tasks assigned with little direction and be flexible to change in requirements/direction
Other responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as PeopleSoft Functional Consultant
BS in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent preferred
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in all onboarding related processes
In-depth knowledge of the underlying benefits, garnishments/wage attachments, earnings, deductions, and W2 tables and configuration options
In-depth knowledge of the integration points between HR and Payroll
In-depth Knowledge of interfaces with third-party vendors
Knowledge of the HR tables and model.
Knowledge of the key payroll tables related to payroll deductions and wages.
Experience with PS Query and SQL
Deep understanding of setup tables, integration points, and reporting
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills
Strong understanding of SDLC Waterfall and Agile models
