Description

Our client is currently seeking a HRIS Analyst (PeopleSoft)

This job will have the following responsibilities: 

  • Work with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Learning Management, Finance, and other functional areas to gather requirements or troubleshoot problems
  • Interview users to determine need and translate functional requirements into functional designs as well as review and approve detailed technical design specifications
  • Create and maintain requirement traceability matrixes
  • Create business process maps including ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ states
  • Develop test scenarios, cases, and scripts
  • Develop test plans and directly participate in System, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Ensure appropriate business product lead participation to enable delivery of solutions that fully meet customer requirements
  • Maintain core competency with multiple PeopleSoft modules and exercise a thorough knowledge of institutional business processes
  • Create and/or update HRIT team documentation (processes, workflows, data flows, systems, etc.…) as required
  • Define, analyze and document business requirements and business cases upon initiation of new projects
  • Draft and validate technical and operational requirements, assess and communicate the impacts, trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of technology solutions to steering committees
  • Perform review of contracts and/or other procurement-related processes and work with CPS partners to define technical requirements for proposals (RFPs). In order to be successful and achieve the above responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM data model
  • High proficiency with SQL language and PeopleSoft reporting tools
  • In-depth knowledge of core functionality for some of the following PeopleSoft (9.2) modules including setup/rule configuration:

    • Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Position Management, North
    • American Payroll, Time and Labor, HRMS Portal Pack, Workflow, Benefits
    • Administration, eBenefits, ePay, Talent Acquisition Manager, Candidate
    • Gateway, eCompensation, eProfile, eLearning, and Learning Management
  • Public sector experience is a plus
