Overview

The Sr. Peoplesoft Analyst operates as part of the Finance Systems Group that provides technical analysis and development for CHLA's financials and human resources processes and systems. The scope of the financial systems portfolio includes PeopleSoft Financials and Human Resources and all interfaced systems both to and from.

Minimum Education and Qualifications: Bachelors degree required. Minimum 5 years PeopleSoft and at least PeopleSoft 8.0 experience required. PeopleSoft implementation and upgrade experience required. 5 years PeopleSoft financial applications. Implementation of financial ERP with at least version 8.0.

Minimum Skills required: Must be able to troubleshoot technical issues. Strong written and verbal skills to interface with all levels of employees. Expert knowledge of table structures and reporting /extracting tools. Knowledge of multiple development languages and peoplesoft's hardware architecture. This role will assist with problem identification and solution development. Expert technical PeopleSoft knowledge in 3 of the following areas: Human Resources, Payroll, General Ledger, Commitment Control, Grants, Projects, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Inventory, Asset Management and Financial Reporting. Peoplecode, SQR, Component Interfaces, SQL, and Application Designer. Broad knowledge of systems terminology, batch files, systems interfaces, and directory and database structures. Strong understanding of PeopleSoft ERP system. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications including Excel, Access, and Word. Excellent understanding of Web-based systems and interface applications. Ability to work in a team environment and motivate team members by example. The ability to effectively communicate at all levels will be essential. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are mandatory. Ability to Manage small to medium sized projects to completion while maintaining scope, budget, and timeline.
