Description/Comment:

Client is looking for a driven and motivated PeopleSoft Analyst/Engineer to join the Accounting Operations team. The PeopleSoft Analyst/Engineer will support Incident troubleshooting by analyzing and debugging interfaces, analyzing integration payloads, and working with a wide range of technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a solid functional grounding in PeopleSoft Financials and understand how Incidents affect core business and technical processes and is comfortable being in an on-call rotation. As a member of the Accounting Operations team, you will help ensure application stability and will be willing to gain expertise in supporting accounting applications.

What you are good at:

• PeopleTools development background, able to analyze integration interfaces (Application Engines, SQRs) to facilitate troubleshooting and restoration efforts

• Functional understanding of PeopleSoft Financials, especially related to data flow and how to analyze/troubleshoot data related errors. Preference for experience related to AP, PO, GL, AM, AR, and PC modules

• Able to efficiently drive and participate in troubleshooting and debugging efforts in a high-paced, dynamic environment

• Drive incident management calls, coordinate user communications during production outages

• Leverage ITIL principles to bring scale and efficiency to the organization

• Expand alerting and monitoring to improve Mean Time To Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR) metrics as part of analyzing trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement

• Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to Application Development and Business partners during the triage, troubleshooting, investigation, and resolution of any isolated or system-wide outage

• Document and maintain resolutions in the corporate Knowledge Base System

• Develop/Improve Production Readiness process to ensure the team is ready to support features deployed to production

• Coordinate application maintenance activities, such has OS upgrade, Certificate Updates, Password Rotations, Disaster Recovery, Currency Patching, etc.

• Provide off hours on-call escalation on a rotational basis in support of service recovery events

• Provide off hours Release / Deployment support and application health validation as requested

• Responsible for ensuring the Change Implementation Management policies are adhered to for all changes deployed to Production

What you have: • College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related disciplines • Strong ownership mentality with a focus on customer satisfaction • Self-motivated with exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely • 3-5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Financials, with a preference for experience working in AP, GL, and AR modules • Debug level PeopleTools Proficiency (App Designer, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker) • Ability to create, analyze, and debug moderately complex SQL queries. • Ability to create and debug Unix shell scripts • Hands on experience supporting enterprise integrations via Control-M or similar enterprise automation technology • Experience presenting issues to development teams for L3 escalation • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as poise under pressure
