Job DescriptionBusiness reason: This is a temporary backfill for an existing position as our client transitions to a new ERP platform during a multi-year engagement. This candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial, human capital, workforce management and supply chain applications team supporting the current PeopleSoft, Infor, and UKG Workforce Dimensions platform and their critical integrations. This position will report to the current Manager for Business Applications and will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to ensure that the team is delivering high-quality customer support for critical business functions. Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities: •Manage and provide mentoring for a team of 10-12 professionals responsible for the maintenance and support of business applications, including PeopleSoft HCM and Financials, Infor CPM, and UKG Workforce Dimensions platforms. •Work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand critical business functions and deliver high quality customer service and support to keep those functions working effectively. •Oversee technical support and development work for regular operational activities, including Open Enrollment, Fiscal Year End, Annual Operating and Capital Budget Cycles, Tax Year End (W-2s and 1099s), annual audit and other recurring events requiring technical application support (PUM Tax Updates, new integrations). •Employ service management, product management and project management methodologies to deliver high quality work products. •Develop and maintain resource plans and timelines for project portfolio. •Ensure service tickets are responded to and managed to closure within organizational SLAs. •Ensure that the team is adhering to enterprise development standards and following policies around service management, security, and change control. •Update critical administrative systems for project portfolio tracking. •Act as point of contact for key network account management and technical integration between PeopleSoft application and larger enterprise IT organization identity platform. •Provide regular status updates to the Manager of Business Applications and other business stakeholders. •Provide hands-on expertise in the configuration and development of PeopleSoft. •Promote and encourage a high-quality customer service experience for all customers - internal and external. •May work directly with 3-4 vendors to assure delivery of contracted services and products Preferred Knolwedge - Skills - Abilities: •8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft, with at least 5 years managing people •Experience in academic medical organizations is a plus. •A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. •Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically. •Strong project management skills and experience developing project plans, resource plans, and timelines. •Demonstrated ability to meet customer needs, prioritize work in alignment with the needs of the customer and ability to incorprorate customer knowledge and feedback to improve work results. •Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within and external to the organization •Demonstrated experience as a collaborator, working across different teams/groups and with vendors to achieve results •Demonstrated commitment to delivery of high-quality customer service. •Bachelor's degree
