The PeopleSoft Security and Change Administrator works with a team that implements application-level security and technical change deployment requests for PeopleSoft Financials, Hyperion, and several custom/Java applications. The Administrator works with the team to fulfill all application security and technical change implementation requests accurately and within the required timeframe while ensuring adherence to audit compliance change controls and standards. The Administrator is also responsible for recommending and implementing continuous improvements to established processes, including, but not limited to, opportunities for programmed automation and how to continually meet subject matter best practices as they evolve. The position is responsible for maintaining documentation relating to application security and technical change implementation request fulfillment and providing reports and key metrics relating to fulfilling application security and technical change deployment requests to NYU IT management and staff.
Bachelor's Degree in computer or information science or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
3+ years of relevant experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 and Oracle Databases (SQL and database basics). Experience with systems and application security, PeopleSoft PeopleTools, Application Designer, and DataMover. PeopleSoft Financials 9.x experience, PeopleSoft Application Designer and Security Administrator experience, Oracle SQL and Reporting Tool experience. Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite experience.
3+ years of experience with Hyperion Reporting and Oracle PeopleSoftl, SQL and SQL Reporting Tools.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent communication and analytic skills. Knowledge of systems analysis and implementations or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 and other Oracle enterprise applications, and application security best practices.
