What You Will Do:

As a PeopleSoft HCM Technical Lead (Development), you will help lead the design, development, testing and implementation of major enhancements and operations & maintenance of PeopleSoft Federal HCM system in production. This includes development and maintenance of interfaces, reports, conversions, and other technical aspects of the PeopleSoft HCM application.

You will help lead our clients and the project team through a structured process to analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy the solutions per client requirements. Define and execute on a robust plan to ensure all client requirements are met, while leading the team to continuously innovate and streamline the application functionality and data quality assurance/testing process. Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals willing to architect and develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the areas of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.

What You Will Need:

  • The contractual requirements for this position require the candidate to be a US Citizen.
  • The successful candidate will have proven experience in design, development, testing and deployment solutions and support data analysis functions for commercial entities and Federal agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / Engineering or Information Systems or technically relevant degree
  • 6+ years of PeopleSoft HCM technical design and current hands-on development experience
  • 9+ years of overall technical experience in systems design, development, testing, deployment and production support of PeopleSoft applications or systems
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical hands-on experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or above
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
  • Experience in drafting technical design specifications and test plans for application modifications, enhancements, or customizations
  • Extensive experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Query
  • Familiar with Portal Technology and Workflow
  • Extensive experience with writing complex SQL statements and designing custom modules
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership
  • Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem solving skills

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience working in Federal Department or Agency environment
  • Experience utilizing an issue tracking software such as JIRA and ServiceNow
  • Understanding of HR business processes preferred
  • Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience, and location.
  • This is an exempt level role that may require more than 40 hours of work per week.
  • The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
  • Selected Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required for this position

The annual salary range for this position is $109,400.00-$218,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
