Job Title: Peoplesoft HCM Functional Analyst Payroll & Education
Location : MD (Remote)
Job Description
**b. Background Information:**
1. The HCM Support team manages four (4) payroll cycles monthly for over 4,400 employees. Time & Labor and Absence Management modules calculate payable time, with data transferred to Central Payroll's mainframe system for payments.
2. The team offers 1st and 2nd tier user support for all Peoplesoft HR and Enterprise Learning modules, resolving 587 service tickets in the previous year.
**c. Scope of Work:**
1. Act as a subject matter expert for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
2. Define and document business requirements.
3. Provide expertise in design, development, testing, and deployment of customizations or configuration updates.
4. Offer 2nd tier production support.
5. Conduct system configuration, testing, and reporting.
6. Develop system documentation, including configuration workbooks, test plans, design documents, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
7. Facilitate knowledge transfer to internal subject matter experts.
**d. Minimum Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Three (3) years of expert experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant role.
3. Three (3) years of expert experience in PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, including Application Designer, PS Query reporting, CI, and Process Scheduler.
**e. Preferred Skills, Experience, and Capabilities:**
1. Five (5) years of expert experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant role.
2. Five (5) years of expert experience in PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, including Application Designer, PS Query reporting, CI, and Process Scheduler.
3. Experience with:
- PeopleSoft upgrades and testing.
- PeopleSoft selective adoption process.
- AWE/Workflow.
4. Expertise in SDLC methodology and processes.
5. Strong ability to provide expert customer service and production support.
