We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a  PeopleSoft Financial Consultant role. Perform analysis, programming services, system and report development and enhancements, interface development, and data migration in support of the TDHCA CAPPS Financials 9.2 environment. This includes software development in PeopleCode, PeopleTools (including Application Designer and Application Engine), SQR, SQL, COBOL, and Oracle.Communicate with effective, high quality writing skills and work well in a project team environment, with a polite, positive attitude and a focus on customer service.Perform other reasonable services as necessary to configure, administer, and maintain TDHCA’s Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) Financials system. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS(Required):Experience as a developer/programmer.Experience in PeopleSoft administration and/or development with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) statewide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Experience working with CPA CAPPS Financials and have hands on experience importing monthly PeopleSoft imagesExperience managing PeopleSoft production servers.Experience in PeopleTools 8.56 and later with emphasis on Fluid development and administrationExperience working with CPA CAPPS Financials and have hands on experience importing monthly PeopleSoft imagesBe proficient with deploying PUM PeopleTools and PeopleSoft 9.2 image upgrades; have had experience executing and deploying at least three PeopleTools and Image upgrades in an enterprise environment.Experience and proficiency is required with configuration, fit-gap analysis, production support and development with integration broker, AWE, object oriented programming, and writing web services over http.Integrate PeopleSoft with various external systems as necessary. Knowledge of current authentication protocols, API’s, and other advanced PeopleSoft features.Perform functional system configuration. Must have demonstrated expertise with all of the common modules of PeopleSoft.Experience recommending and implementing role based access related to the innerworkings of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools modules. Skills(Preferred):TDHCA is a CAPPS HUB customer and it’s PeopleSoft Financials environment is different from other state of Texas agencies. Significant preference for prior experience with TDHCA CAPPS Financials system.
