Location: Texas Remote
Duration: Long-term
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) requires the services of one (1) ERP Developer/Systems Administrator, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meet the general qualifications of an ITSAC ERP Developer/Systems Administrator, Level 3 and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC).
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of TWC. TWC may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TWC will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
The PeopleSoft Systems Administrator performs senior-level systems administration work. Work involves coordinating the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of systems. Installs and upgrades computer components and system software. Works is performed under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Collaborates with IT staff and business customers to accomplish work.
-Performs senior-level systems administration work in the PeopleSoft Financial and/or HRMS Systems.
-Installs and upgrades computer components and system software, a customized version of the web-based application PeopleSoft Financial and/or HRMS Systems.
-Coordinates and maintains the functionality of the systems environment, implementation of technology solutions, development of server upgrade plans and procedures and installation of operating systems.
-Reviews, analyzes, and modifies systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support PeopleSoft applications.
-Creates and maintains technical documentation.
-Coordinates studies and the preparation of reports that include study findings, recommendations, and instructions for proposed system implementations.
-Supports activities related to building, configuring, debugging, maintaining, performance tuning and supporting PeopleSoft applications for development, testing, QA, production, and disaster recovery.
-Establishes the standards for disaster recovery, data retention, database security, and industry standard monitoring.
-Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues, and provides status reports to management.
-May work outside normal office hours/days when needed to resolve production issues. May provide on-call activities on a rotational basis.
-Performs other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Worker should be qualified to serve as a "ERP Developer/Systems Administrator, Level 3" under the DIR IT Staff Augmentation Contract guidelines.

Experience with PeopleSoft Financial 9.1 or above, PeopleTools 8.56 or above, Application Engine, Unix, and Structured Query Report Writer (SQR).

Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS 9.1 or above, PeopleTools 8.56 or above, Application Engine, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, and Structured Query Report Writer (SQR).

PeopleSoft experience with Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS).

PeopleSoft experience with Workforce, Reporting, Accounting and Purchasing System (WRAPS), customized version of the web-based application PeopleSoft Financials.

Experience using PeopleTools and PeopleCode.

Experience with PeopleTools upgrades.

Experience with PeopleSoft PUM upgrades.
8
Experience using Structured Query Report Writer (SQR).

Working knowledge of CSS, HTML5, JavaScript.

Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft System, Database and Change Administration utilizing the Oracle Database platform.

Experience using Unix in support of PeopleSoft Administration duties.

Experience with Unix scripting.

Experience with PeopleSoft tax updates.

Experience with Integration Broker, Web Calls.

Experience troubleshooting and resolving COBOL issues.

Experience with accessibility requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
