ABOUT THE ROLE

PeopleSoft Developer Purchasing Functional Area

The Purchasing PeopleSoft Developer will serve as a member of the Cardinal Post Production Support (PPS) team. As a PPS team member, the PeopleSoft Developer will work closely with a Tier 2, or functional, and counterpart. As an application developer, this role will be required to take the lead on making system fixes and enhancements based on help desk tickets and other requests, including troubleshooting the software, producing technical documentation, making the actual coding changes and conducting thorough testing.

Resource must be well-versed in PeopleSoft v9.2 modules, specifically PeopleSoft Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing. Resource must be experienced in the standard system development life cycle, including design, development and testing of PeopleSoft objects (Reports, Interfaces, and Conversion programs, Extensions/Modifications) to meet the Commonwealth of Virginia's business requirements. Candidate must be well-versed in Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface and SQRs.

In addition to excellent development skills, the role requires strong verbal and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a post-production support (PPS) environment for multiple years.
