Description : Scope of Services 1. Client business need/background Client engaged a vendor to implement PeopleSoft as our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in 2011. Over the past years, we have built out the system and related business processes spanning multiple departments. Between internal knowledge lost and inefficiencies due to turnover, reorganizations, and general business changes since the initial ERP implementation, client feels that there are opportunities to better understand, optimize, and document the holistic end-to-end process related to banking, general accounting, and treasury processes from a system perspective as well as a business process perspective. In addition to internal factors, the banking industry has changed and now offers products and services that may benefit us. We are looking for strategic advisory services that will analyze our current PeopleSoft Cash and Treasury system, our operational processes, and our governance processes (policies, procedures, and controls), factor in industry standards, best practices, products, and services available, and recommend a roadmap for change to optimize our enterprise level financial functions. 2. Work to be performed Project work includes: Strategic advisory services for accounting, banking, and treasury functions managed through PeopleSoft ERP system to analyze our current PeopleSoft Cash and Treasury system, our operational processes, and our governance processes (policies, procedures, and controls), factor in industry standards, best practices, products and services available, and recommend a roadmap for change to optimize our enterprise level financial functions. Project deliverables include: Current state analysis of client's receivables and payables managed through PeopleSoft cash to credit modules, related business processes and roles and responsibilities Gap analysis of client's current state compared to industry standards, products, and best practices Recommendation for changes and implementation roadmap to optimize our banking, accounting, and treasury system and processes 3. Specific skills/experience required Extensive level of functional experience of the PeopleSoft Cash and Treasury application / modules Extensive level of Treasury and investment solutions experience across the industry Extensive level of interfaces/integrations of in-house solutions to and from banks Experience in governmental accounting processes and controls Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and services VIVA is an equal opportunity employer.
