  Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Summary:
Is there any way to track and report on employees' seniority within Peoplesoft HR?

Answer1

There is a company seniority date on the employment record of HRMS 8.8.

Answer2

You can clone the LEAVE_ACCRUAL table, and create a custom record that will track seniority for each employee. Some fields you would want to include are EMPLID, ACCRUAL_PROC_DT, seniority carryover, seniory adjusted carryover, seniority earned YTD, seniority adjusted YTD (you will have to think of names for the last fields). It would make it a lot easier for you to actually customize within PeopleSoft.

Answer3

The PeopleSoft application Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) provides mechanisms to do reporting and analysis on lots of HR information including seniority.
