Recruiting Solution - Prepare for Hire

I am trying to learn Peoplesoft recruiting solution and got some questions
1) On the 'Prepare for Hire' page, I clicked 'Save & Submit Request to HR'
2) Then I go to the WA Admiin -> Personal Info > Manage Hire, I cannot see the transaction there
My question is according to the PeopleBook, after I clicked the button, I should see
1) The Job Opening status set to 'Closed'
2) Applicant status set to 'Hired'
What I see is the Job Opening status remains the same, applicant status still = 'Active'
Then I can't see any record in "WA Admiin -> Personal Info > Manage Hire"
Am I missing something?
