PeopleSoft Multi-Currency Implementations are simply PeopleSoft implementations where the application is configured to handle multiple currencies.

For instance, most implementations will be configured to use USD (US Dollars) as the primary currency.

In a multi-currency implementation, it may be that the company has multiple business units in different geographical regions which use more currencies than the US Dollar.

In that case, transactions are stored in the application in their native currency and can be automatically converted between currencies as need be.
