HRIS Functional Analyst

Duration: 3 months contract to hire

Project Description:

  • This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. The HRIT Functional Analyst is responsible for providing functional and technical support to the Leave Administration team. This support includes providing reports, (both via PS Queries, and direct SQL), validation, auditing, and reconciliation of leave related payroll data, and online functional support.

The Functional Analyst will be held accountable for the following responsibilities:

  • Reconcile the Leave payroll data processed through payroll making corrections where needed
  • Act as liaison between the Leave Administration Team and PeopleSoft Technical Support Team
  • Create reporting and provide analysis of PeopleSoft and Kronos data sets
  • Keep current regarding industry trends in order to recommend the best leave related solutions
  • Work with the Leave Team and the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Interview users to create functional requirements
  • Develop test plans and perform Quality Assurance (QA) and other required testing
  • Create and/or update Leave team documentation (processes, workflows, data flows, systems, etc...) as required

Type of Experience and Number of Years:

  • Two years or more in business analysis, two years of PeopleSoft experience including PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, PS Query and direct SQL reporting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to create reports utilizing direct SQL
  • Ability to create reports utilizing PeopleSoft Query Manager preferred
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Process Scheduler and Report Manager preferred
  • Strong familiarity with the data model for the following PeopleSoft modules (9.2): Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Payroll, and Time and Labor preferred
  • Experience with Kronos Timekeeping, Reporting, and Integration Assistant preferred
  • Experience with HR/Payroll integration preferred
