Description

Duties of PeopleSoft Functional Analyst:

  • Supports HR teams in identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements involving PeopleSoft applications
  • Acts as SME to provide analysis of workflow, system capabilities, and potential configuration solutions
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis of PeopleSoft with current/proposed processes and then make optimization recommendations¬†
  • Communicate effectively with existing PeopleSoft team analysts and developers to create interface programs
  • Support HR team to ensure successful and reliable interfaces between PeopleSoft and other systems. Identifies interface requirements for data transfers between systems. Creates import/export templates or works with 3rd party vendor to develop templates.
  • Work closely with HRIS technical team to ensure that HRIS system function and technical needs align
  • Work with business users to test Oracle PeopleSoft application components
  • Plans & execute data conversion activities (i.e. test data) and configuration
  • Coordinate collection and preparation of requirements for major modules and serve as liaison between development team and customer ensuring system needs are being met.
  • Lead solution design to ensure business needs are being met
  • Create standard, complex, and customized queries and reports. Audit existing queries for accuracy
  • Collaborate with users to develop, maintain, and distribute reports/queries
  • Determine data needs and develops new standardized reporting, as well as how to capture data
  • Train or schedule training for new PeopleSoft operators. Provide refresher training when needed
  • Trains HR team corporate-wide on PeopleSoft functionality and reporting capabilities
