TOP SKILLS REQUIRED:

  1. Peoplesoft Financials core knowledge - understand modules and tables. Specifically with PS AP/PO and AR/BI and AP/PO is primary focus.
  2. Technical skills to query data within PS tables to do support/enhancement work. Doing extract work for business to pull data out of PeopleSoft.
  3. Solid production support experience from Tier 2 perspective. Understand if config/functional issue before turning over to technical team. Most issues are data related issues or config related issues.

Our client has an immediate need for a Peoplesoft Financials Business Analyst for a FULL- TIME PERMANENT position.

Responsibilities:

The PeopleSoft Financials Analyst III will apply functional PeopleSoft knowledge to the design and customization of PeopleSoft and related applications to meet the company's requirements. Understands the content, processes and procedures associated with implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft. Writes functional requirements, develops and implements test plans, and works with production issues. Serves as subject matter expert associated in the PeopleSoft functional areas of PS Financials - AM, AR, AP, PO, GL, ePRO. Understands common business analysis tools and methodologies and is able to apply them to solve problems.

Primary will be doing PS Financials support. Looking at road map from business- do analysis of requests- possible business process changes, updates in PS, or customizations within PS to make changes.
Primary will be PO- Purchase Orders- create PO first before buying new items versus buying then creating PO. Supporting all buyers across subsidiaries that do expense type purchases.
