This is an on-site position based at our new global headquarters in Secaucus, NJ.

Financial Applications Systems Manager, PeopleSoft - the role

 

The Financial Applications Systems Manager is responsible for managing enhancements, integration, system configuration and supporting financial systems applications under the Corporate Applications, Analytics and Services function. This includes functional and technical application support knowledge for PeopleSoft Financial Supply chain management applications and Hyperion products (DRM, Essbase as well as other OBIEE/Hyperion Products).

Job responsibilities

  • Provide support for PeopleSoft financial Applications and Oracle Data Relationship Management including end-user inquiries, allocations, training, documentation, development of new functionality as requested by financial leadership

  • Project management related to Oracle implementation / enhancements of application (i.e. Software Upgrades, Integrations, acquisitions)

  • Ensure that Multi-Currency configuration and execution is in compliance with GAAP

  • Ensure that PeopleSoft financials are used to their full functionality

  • Establish and maintain control over financial results including all SOX, Security, Internal and External Audit requests

  • Create and maintain a documentation library for all financial systems, receiving input and
    support from other SME within CAAS Organization

  • Documentation of requirements, business rules, implementation decisions, etc.

  • Partner with  Business Customer and Information Technology on Varicent requirements and enhancements and related Financial System impacts

  • Ensure adherence to company compliance. Perform E&Y and SOX testing as requested

  • Assist in coordination with Corporate Accounting and Planning & Analysis regarding monthly close

  • Assist in the training delivery and on-going support for application end-users from a functional perspective 

  • Assist maintenance team with proper chartfield usage and structure changes 

  • Develop and support documentation and deployment of key controls and SOPs for area of responsibility

  • Priority setting and process management

To qualify, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years in the finance/systems area Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft products (General Ledger, Costing, Inventory, Accounts Payables) solution

  • Working knowledge of PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Security

  • Knowledge of Oracle Data Relationship Management from an implementation,  development, and administration perspective

  • Experience in supporting implementations of PeopleSoft ERP and Hyperion products.
    Project Management skills Experience in delivering/supporting end user training

  • Extensive MSOffice software knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Strong analytic, problem solving, collaboration and communication skills

  • Ability to work across a large organization and disparate processes

  • Experience in Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud  a plus

  • BS/BA (concentration in Finance and/or Computer Science), or related experience
