How to develop from starting in Peoplesoft?

Hi All,
Hope you are doing well,
I need one help from you regarding...........
Long back they developed one Application in JSP. Now they decided to implement that application in PEOPLESOFT 9 and ORACLE 11.
Now we are looking for develop an architecture. But i never involved in the architecture stage. could you please help me for this issue or give me some valuable suggestion to develop this project successfully.
Note: Could you please share some Documents & archtecture like Database design, Data conversion.
