UPDATE: Plan Now for Oracle
OpenWorld 2005 in San Francisco!
Oracle OpenWorld and the PeopleSoft Connect conference have merged into a single
event. The conference will be held September 18 - 22 in San Francisco at the
Moscone Center. This event promises to be bigger and better than either
conference alone!
In addition to
all of the content that was available at this year's OpenWorld, the conference
will integrate content for PeopleSoft Enterprise, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and
JD Edwards World customers, ensuring that the combined Conference will have
appropriate content for all of their customers and partners. This event will
allow you to hear Oracle's vision and strategy for their combined companies. You
will continue to get the latest information on the products that you are using
as well as additional solutions that your company may benefit from.
Now... a little bit about last
year....
PeopleSoft Connect 2004!
So...what was Connect you ask? Connect is PeopleSoft's annual
conference where their customers and partners get together and learn about the
latest tools and technology that's coming from Pleasanton California (their
headquarters). During the day, there are sessions held where PeopleSoft and some
of their select clients/partners teach and give previews about different topics.
These seminars are great and very informative from the perspective that they
give a preview about what's coming down the pipeline (technology wise) in the
coming year.
To the experienced and initiated, PeopleSoft conferences are all
about the after parties!! PeopleSoft conference parties are reputed to be the
most fun and interesting of the whole industry!! A lot of marriages happen as a
result of these conferences (just joking)... Seriously though, the parties are
kick ass and the day time sessions are a lot of fun...
