PeopleSoft Immigration H1B

In the 90's, during the Dot Com paradise we built for ourselves, a huge part of the North American PeopleSoft skilled workers, clients, contractors etc were made up of Immigrants or H-1B's.

An H-1B visa is a temporary work visa. The H-1B nonimmigrant visa may be issued to individuals who seek temporary entry in a specialty occupation as a professional.

Some examples of "specialty occupations" include accountant, computer analyst, engineer, financial analyst, scientist, architect or lawyer.

The petition can be approved with a combination of college or university course work plus three years work experience for each year of university education missing. Together this would be deemed equivalent to a four-year bachelor's degree.

These temporary workers got H-1B temporary visas to work in the United States for a maximum of 6 years. During these 6 years, these workers had a chance to apply for permanent residence in the United States.

While the boom of the 90's is mostly over and we're back to reality, there are still a lot of temporary workers in the U.S. IT industry. Some of our staff used to be immigrant workers and we know that some of you (our visitors) are as well.

The secret to being successful with immigration issues is research, and our well researched e-books (coming soon) have already helped hundreds of people figure out the process surrounding immigration in the United States. Learning from the mistakes of others could be the difference

between a successful application and an unsuccessful one.

Our e-Books feature aggregated data from several non-copyrighted sources representing a total of 6000 commonly asked questions and answers. The information is organized around specific immigration topics so that you can find exactly what you need – quickly and efficiently.

In addition to our e-books (coming soon), we also created the first ever comprehensive US immigration KnowledgeBase (coming soon). The Knowledgebase is a proprietary database of US immigration questions and answers that have been researched and collated by our R&D team.

The KnowledgeBase is free. If you think The KnowledgeBase is valuable and wish to express your appreciation for the time and resources we have expended developing and supporting it, they do accept and appreciate monetary donations through PayPal.

We also feel that due to the fluid nature of US immigration, it's important to keep current with all the latest news. To that end, we have an Immigration News section that is updated weekly. Here they excerpt relevant Immigration News topics and bring them to you in an easy to read format.
