Well folks, here's the
deal. We plan to take a some of the consulting firms that work with
Oracle-PeopleSoft and review them. We plan to get feedback from the companies
about the size of their Oracle-PeopleSoft practice, their methodologies, project
experiences and successes etc.
 We will
look for feedback from you guys to let us know which firms are doing a great job
and which ones are just OK. Obviously we don't want to get sued for slander and
defamation so we will run derogatory emails past our legal department before we
post them. :-) Play nice kids...

Hiring the right consulting firm
to come in and assist with an ERP implementation is one of the most delicate
decisions that a company can make on the road to implementing an enterprise wide
system. The firm that comes in has to be credible, reasonable (rates wise) and
have a track record of successes. Often, success or failure of a large project
may depend upon simply hiring the right firm. The consulting world is pretty
aggressive and it's pretty hard to tell one good firm from the other.
Here
are some of the things to look for when you hire a consulting firm.
Over the next few months, we are
going to review several different consulting companies that specialize in
PeopleSoft implementations. This will be an excellent opportunity for companies
to display their expertise and boast of their impressive track records. More
importantly, we get to hear what differentiates these companies from run of the
mill consulting firms. We will get input from these companies and from other
sources as well. We will keep the reviews objective, respectful and honest.
